Everyone is just waiting around for someone to tell them it is okay to express their values or be authentic at their job. When we show up in this way, claiming who we have yearned to be, clients will want to work with us, people will want to collaborate and be around us.
If we don’t use these opportunities in our work and our lives to do this, we do ourselves and the people around us a disservice.
It won’t be easy at first, but eventually it will become second nature. This means you will have the chance to say what you really think and believe through your work. It might ruffle a couple of feathers or surprise some co-workers, but that’s okay. If it is who you are and what you believe, you will create an appropriate time to express that.
Yes, I believe that business and spirituality go together.
