"The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that our aim is too low...and we reach it."

A typical Coaching session lasts 45 minutes:

The client and Coach spend the first couple of minutes connecting.

  • They then determine what to focus on in the session that day. This will involve talking about a client’s goals and their actions towards them. Most likely they will discuss what successes the client has achieved in the last week, as well as obstacles that have appeared
  • They will then determine a strategy on how to move past them.
  • After discovering the most effective path of action, the client will commit to completing certain actions in the next week.

In the session, the coach often asks powerful and challenging questions to help propel the client forward. At time, they will also suggest actions or different perspectives to help the client claim what they want.
